Welcome to the Red Moon Circle School! ⭕🔻🧘🏽♀️🌹
Join me online as well as in person on Crete to learn to create your own circles, infuse your current offerings with circle magic or ensure your circle spaces are steeped in feminine wisdom traditions.
The Red Moon Circle School emerged out of my longing and vision for every woman to have access to a sacred space and experience the power of non-patriarchal gatherings.
The Foundation & Certification curriculum trains you to host online & in person spaces for women that are filled with beauty medicine and built on post-patriarchal values.
The Foundation Level provides the core wisdom and knowledge you need to hold circle space, including topics such as cyclical living, beauty medicine, trauma awareness and ritual education.
The Certification Level supports you in developing your own unique way of hosting circles and includes hands-on supervision to create the circles you’re dreaming of.
We will meet for 1:1 or group sessions online on Zoom or in my home studio on Crete.
This experiential training is for you when:
You feel a longing in your heart to start holding space for women
You have started holding circle space but haven’t been trained
You are trained in circle work and want to enhance your skills
You have similar skills and want to add circle space holding
You would like to develop and deepen your own post-patriachal practice
Foundation Training Programme
The Foundation Level covers six themes in six monthly sessions.
🌹Session 1: Foundations: Living cyclically
Includes an earth-based ritual to vision your intentions based on the wheel of the year, the elements and the cycles of the sun, moon and womb.
🌹Session 2: Safe space: Trauma-conscious space holding
How to create a safe space, including understanding how trauma works, spotting trauma responses, and knowing how to approach them.
🌹Session 3: Beauty medicine: Healing the nervous system
How to include beauty medicine in your circles to bring healing to body and soul, and understand the connection with trauma healing.
🌹Session 4: Sacred activism: Transitioning out of patriarchy
Understanding the wider context of the contemporary women’s movement and how circles contribute to reclaiming a non-patriarchal spiritual practice.
🌹Session 5: Invoking the Goddess: Sensing the subtle
Exploring the subtle, intuitive, mystical side of circles and how to invite the Goddess and recognise her presence.
🌹Session 6: Celebrations: Heart-opening rituals
How to create meaningful and powerful earth-based rituals marking women’s rites of passage, moments of transition and transformation.
Each training session combines knowledge transfer, experiential learning, mentoring and QA about both in person and online circles.
If you’re choosing the 1:1 training option, I’ll tailor the curriculum to your level of experience and we can change the topics, for example to add a session about online circles or another theme, or to omit one or more of the topics above that you already have solid training in.
Certification Training Programme
The optional Certification Level is designed for you to develop your own unique way of holding circle space online and/or in person.
Through two supervised circles you get a chance to put your learnings into practice so they become an embodied, lived experience.
I’ll support and review your process of creating both the practice and the certification circles and give you supportive, honest and helpful supervision feedback.
To complete your learning process, you’ll write a mini-thesis to reflect on the impact of your circles on the women participating.
We’ll celebrate with a completion ritual when you receive your Red Moon Circle School Certificate!
You may also want to add 1:1 training sessions on specific skills you’d like to develop further so you feel confident to hold circle space.
Practical info & how to book
🌹 Applications: send me an email via julie@maitreecoaching.com to express your interest and I’ll send you back a simple application form to fill out. After that we’ll schedule a 15-minute 1:1 conversation on Zoom.
🌹 Foundation Level training fee (online group journey): €750-1,500 depending on income level, with sponsored spots available upon request. Your contribution includes six training circles (3hr each) plus two 1:1 mentoring sessions with me (1.5hr each).
🌹 Foundation Level training fee (1:1 sessions): €750-1,500 depending on income level, with sponsored spots available upon request. Your contribution includes six training & mentoring sessions with me (1.5hr each).
🌹 Certification Level training fee (1:1 sessions): minimum €700-1,400 covering the two reviewed and supervised circles and the mini-thesis review, with sponsored spots available upon request. Additional costs for extra tailored training sessions added to be discussed based on your experience.
🌹 Discount There’s a 10% discount for booking both the Foundation and Certification Level in one go.

My Experience
I have created this curriculum to offer you the essential knowledge and experience to host beautiful, powerful and safe women’s spaces, based on my in total 19 years of space holding experience in person in the UK, India, Greece and internationally online.
In the Red Moon Circle School I provide you with a holistic foundation, blending together the diverse approaches that I have trained in:
My 6 years as a Strategy Consultant designing client workshops at public and private executive level.
My 14 years as a master-level Certified Co-active Professional Coach offering co-creative 1:1 & group spaces as well as coaching training.
My 11 years as a Trauma-Informed Movement Therapist guiding clients with an often complex trauma history through embodied and somatic healing processes.
My 10 years as a Circle Space Holder creating post-patriarchal online and in person spaces dedicated to feminine spirituality.
It is the training I wish I had when I first started creating circle spaces!
I feel that this is the biggest contribution I can make to support our transition out of patriarchy, and to a cyclical and regenerative relationship with the Earth.
